Avara Construction completed a full interior tenant improvement for Sama Cellars, transforming a 1,095 SF retail suite into a modern, high-end tasting room. The scope included selective demolition, new framing, MEP coordination, and finish upgrades throughout.
Working in close coordination with Boxwood and CMA Restaurant Supply & Design, we built out a central tasting room, bar, and back-of-house prep area. The project required careful field adjustments to existing walls, mechanical systems, and concrete surfaces to meet the functional and visual goals of the space.
Polished and sealed concrete floors extend throughout, paired with tile wall finishes and custom woodwork that bring warmth and texture. The final result reflects our client’s boutique winery brand while supporting daily service and operations.
Key Project Components:
-
Tasting Room Buildout: Framed and finished the main guest area with integrated seating and wine service zones
Glass-Enclosed Room: Frameless glass enclosure creates a private space while keeping open sightlines to the tasting room
-
Bar and Prep Area: Installed under-counter refrigeration, stainless steel fixtures, updated plumbing and power, and modified casework to fit new layouts
-
Finish Work: Delivered polished concrete flooring, tile installation, and custom millwork
Through careful coordination and attention to craft, Avara delivered a refined hospitality space that brings the Sama Cellars vision to life.
