Avara completed the interior renovation of a former hospital building, converting the second and third floors into a series of rentable office and coworking spaces.
The scope focused on taking an existing structure and reworking it into something functional for everyday use. That meant building out new office suites, shared work areas, and support spaces while working within the constraints of the existing building.
The layout was designed to support a mix of tenants, with a combination of private offices, conference rooms, and open areas. New restrooms were added on both floors, along with shared amenities like kitchenettes and common spaces to make the environment usable day to day.
Key Project Highlights:
- Full interior buildout of second and third floors within an existing structure
- Conversion of former hospital space into coworking and rentable office suites
- New office layouts including private offices, conference rooms, and open work areas
- Addition of new restrooms on both floors
- Installation of shared amenities including kitchenettes and common areas
- New partitions, doors, and interior assemblies throughout
- Integration of updated finishes, fixtures, and building systems into existing conditions
This project required a practical approach. Working within an existing building, aligning new construction with what was already there, and delivering a clean, functional result that supports a range of tenants.
