Avara was proud to compete for the new Roosevelt LA Fitness location against a number of out-of-state and local general contractors. Our comprehensive approach to navigating a complex procurement process and our proactive solutions around the complex mechanical and hydronic hot water system requirements made us an ideal choice for the project.

One of the biggest challenges we faced during this project was an unexpected months-long concrete strike. However, we found unique solutions to keep the project moving forward. Through careful planning and communication with our team, we were able to minimize the impact of the strike and ensured that the project was completed on time.

We were proud to deliver this project on time and with excellent results. The new LA Fitness center is an impressive location that we were glad to be a part of. At Avara, we take pride in our ability to navigate complex projects and find unique solutions to challenges that arise, and we look forward to continuing to deliver outstanding results for our clients in the future.

Chelsey Openshaw is a CPA with experience serving a variety of clients and industries in the accounting field.
Chelsey Openshaw brings years of experience in accounting, the preparation of financial statements, and a client focused mentality to the Avara Team. Her attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management enable her to lead the operations and accounting functions at Avara. Her experience includes an undergraduate and masters degree in accounting at the University of Washington as well as professional experience as an auditor and financial reporting accountant.

Chelsey Openshaw experience stems from a long list of successful new construction and commercial interior projects.

Chelsey Openshaw a wealth of experience in ground-up construction spanning retail, multi-tenant residential, mixed-use, hospitality, and health & fitness. Jason has nearly 10 years’ succeeding experience as a Project Engineer, and leverages his education and can-do attitude to make sure all of the details are thoughtfully considered throughout the lifecycle of the project.
